More information about the artist and the exhibition on the website .Inspired by the murals painted on the ufsm buildings, the creators-performers of the liccda group – laboratório investigativo de criações contemporâneas em dança created the show “utópicos-muros”, which premieres on thursday (26), at 8pm, at theatro treze de may, with free entry – upon collection of tickets in advance at the theater box office. Under the direction of professor odailso berté, liccda's main method of creation is the use of images for choreographic composition. For this dance work, the ufsm murals were the images that motivated the creation of movements and actions that make up the scenes. Utopia and dystopia are the metaphors that weave together the narrative of the work that moves between contemporary dance and dance theater. Two acts structure the show. The first is based on the murals of great master muralists such as juan amoretti, cláudio carriconde and eduardo trevisan and is guided by a kind of game, in which the public draws the order of events.
The second act is based on works by new generation muralists, such as polin moreira, lucas zanella and braziliano, and constructs scenes of an everyday, urban and ritual nature. The cast of the show is made up of luiza ismael, lucas lima, siane colpo bolzan and odailso Germany Mobile Number List berté. The lighting is by antonio de freitas and the sound design by lauren kalia diel. The work is supported by the center for physical education and sports (cefd), the dance-licenciatura course and the postgraduate program in cultural heritage at ufsm. It also has the support of theatro treze de maio, through the cultural incentive law (lic). From monday (23) until next friday (27), the 38th edition of the integrated academic journey (jai) takes place, the most important academic event at ufsm.
